Hi, sweet friends!

Maybe you’ve been wondering if I died. I didn’t. I’m here.

I’ve just been so busy doing mommy things and enjoying life and haven’t had much to say! I’m very sorry to be so neglectful!

Did everyone have a fun time during the Superbowl? We had some sicknesses passing through our family this weekend, but we still managed to enjoy it as much as we could!

I had tons of fun decorating our contribution to the Superbowl potluck.

Who knew Tootsie Rolls that are microwaved for 5 seconds, rolled flat, and trimmed with scissors could make such cute {and tasty!} footballs?? I wish I’d gotten better photos, but they were taken just before we dashed out the door… and in my defense, my frosting laces did become a bit prettier along the way…

I always love football parties, but not for the same reasons as some people. Sometimes I get into the games, and I always enjoy eating and socializing.

But more than anything, I love the sounds of the game. When I was little, I remember enjoying sitting with my dad and eating popcorn during a Sunday afternoon game. I remember my dad’s voice cheering or booing while we ate popcorn together. I even remember dozing to the background game noises of the crowd and the commentators.

So for me, the football atmosphere is what I love the most.
