An Owie Kit, A Giveaway, and Lots More Freebies!

Happy Cyber Monday, friends!I’m super excited to have just finished another project around our home!

Do you all remember my car emergency kit that I created using that fabulous Thirty-One Gifts mini organizer?

Well, I had so much fun doing that project and giveaway with my wonderful friend and Thirty-One Consultant Stephanie, that I thought it was time for another!

This time, I’m using the Thirty-One Littles Carry-All Caddy! I ordered mine in Organic Poppy.

One of my favorite things about Thirty-One Gifts is their personalization options. I decided to have this one personalized and to make a project out of it!

So here’s my Littles Carry-All Caddy, which our family now refers to as the Owie Kit!

With my littles having reached the ages of 4, 3, and 18 months, boo-boos are definitely common around this house. I get SO tired of having to run all over the house to find the band-aids or medicine while my little one wails with pain!

So, this is my solution: A fully-stocked Owie Kit that can be quickly grabbed from it’s home and taken to wherever the wounded babe is.

I decided almost immediately that the Thirty-One Littles Carry-All Caddy was perfect for this project. At 6″ high x 5.5″ wide x 5.5″ deep, it’s about the perfect size for a tissue box and is not too big or too small for a convenient Owie Kit.

These are the things that I decided would be useful in our family’s Owie Kit:

In this kit:

-Antibiotic ointment
-Alcohol swabs
- Hydrogen Peroxide
-Pain relief spray
-Anti-itch cream
-Scissors
-Tweezers
-Q-tips and cotton balls
-Band-aids of all sizes, included plain and printed
-Moleskin for blisters
-Self-adhering bandage
-Gauze pads
-Infants’ and Children’s pain reliever medicine
-Adult Ibuprofen
-Stickers & lollipops, which we all know are the best for pain relief
-Tissues for wiping tearsDuring organizing and stocking the Caddy, I knew I didn’t want to try to squeeze full boxes of band-aids into the kit, but also didn’t want band-aids floating loose all over the bag. After poking around the kitchen, I found this wonderful little gum case in a cupboard.

It looked to be the perfect size, so I cut off the wrapper and top, and it turned out to be just right for the band-aids!

Everything fit into the Caddy so neatly! I was really pleased!

I used the tiny little mesh side pocket for the treats.

Isn’t this wonderful! In the process of writing this post, we have already had to use the kit once. It was definitely a hit, although I am hoping we don’t have to use it very often.

This is love!
